George asks…Should American media be translated in Britain?American English and British English are generally the same. But, there are some words, spellings and pronunciations that are exclusive to one of them.

E.g. To refer to a friend, some may call one a "buddy" in AE whilst Britons may call them a "mate". BE tends to switch the letters "E" and "R" in words that end with them such as kilometer, center etc. "Water" in AE would be pronounced like "wah-ter" while BE has it pronounced like
